Porsche 935 Kremer K3 Le Mans (Walter Wolf) - 1:43 Scale Model Car
Money opens doors. For Walter Wolf, a self-made petroleum billionaire and fixture of Formula 1 society, it opened the doors to a succession of bespoke supercars that were among the fastest in the world in the 1970s and early 1980s. Most bonkers among them was Wolf's roadgoing Porsche 935, constructed to his specification by Kremer to be as close as possible to a street-legal 935 K3 racer (such as won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1979)...and save for a minimally muffled street exhaust and a slightly softer suspension, that is precisely what he got. With 740 horsepower on tap and a reputed top speed of 210 miles per hour, it can be argued that the Walter Wolf K3 is the ultimate street Porsche of all time. This unabashedly intense 935 is now available as a finely detailed 1:43-scale resin replica by TSM, which packs the excitement of Wolf's custom creation into a desktop-friendly form. Notable are the photo-etched wheels and wild fender flares that evoke an audacious era in tuner car history.
SPECIFICATIONS: 1:43 scale (approximately four inches in length). Resin body, features no opening parts. Fixed-position steering. Comes with acrylic dust cover and embossed display base.
PERFECT FOR: Porsche enthusiasts. Those for whom "stock" simply won't do. Lunatics.
