Porsche's inexorable march to the top of international sports car racing in 1970 included a number of milestone class victories throughout the 1960s. Among them was a strong showing in the 1965 Twelve Hours of Sebring, in which the factory-entered 904 GTS of Lake Underwood and Gunther Klass would claim the 2-liter GT category win while finishing 5th overall (behind only big-displacement competition from Chaparral, Ferrari and Ford). This notable 904 is now the subject of a crisply detailed 1:43-scale replica by Spark. Gem-like in its sparkling silver finish, the Spark 904 boasts faithfully scaled bodywork, exactingly detailed rims and exterior trim, and a delicate cockpit that evokes memories of sports car racing's golden era. Limited production of only 300 units, each individually numbered.
