Shelby GT350 Paxton Supercharged - 1:18 Scale Diecast Model Car
In 1966, its second year of production, the Shelby GT350 Mustang featured an intriguing line item on its factory option sheet: a Paxton supercharger. According to legend, the blower became available as a factory- or dealer-installed option on the GT350 after Joseph Granatelli demonstrated its effectiveness by crushing a 289 Cobra driven by Carroll Shelby himself in a drag race. Only eleven Paxton-equipped GT350s left the factory in 1966, making it one of the rarest and most desirable Shelbys of all time. Acme Trading Company's new 1:18-scale diecast replica of the rare Shelby GT350 Paxton is a worthy tribute to this legendary Mustang. Engine detail is exquisite, as is the fully realized interior.
SPECIFICATIONS: 1:18 scale (approximately ten inches in length). Diecast metal body, features opening hood, doors and trunk lid. Poseable steering.
