The introduction of the 2600 series marked the end of an era for Alfa Romeo, as they would be the final inline six-equipped cars offered by the historic Italian automaker. The range-topper was the 2600 Sprint, a handsome coupe with styling by Bertone. Its all-alloy 2.6 liter, twincam straight six was good for 145 horsepower, making the 2600 Sprint into a supremely capable long-range tourer for Italy's high speed Autostrada.
