Ferrari 250P (1963 Le Mans Winner) - 1:43 Scale Model Car
1963 was a milestone year in the history of the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance classic. For the first time ever, the grueling twice-round-the-clock competition was won by a mid-engined car, as well as by an all-Italian driver team, when Ludovico Scarfiotti and Lorenzo Bandini streaked across the finish line in the new Ferrari 250P to claim victory by an incredible 16-lap margin. This historic racing Ferrari is now the subject of a precision-built 1:43-scale resin model by Looksmart. As we've come to expect from the brilliant modelers at Looksmart, detail is superb. Of note are the beautifully executed cockpit (particularly the fine instrument cluster) as well as intricate wire wheels.
SPECIFICATIONS: 1:43 scale (approximately four inches in length). Resin body, features no opening parts. Fixed-position steering. Comes with acrylic dust cover and display base.
PERFECT FOR: Ferrari fanatics. Le Mans historians. Fans of the golden age of sports car racing.
