Nissan GTP ZX-Turbo (1990 12 Hours of Sebring Winner) - 1:43 Scale Model Car
As Nissan moved to retire its Datsun nameplate in the U.S. in the early 1980s, it was decided that a racing program would be necessary to help foster acceptance of the Nissan brand in America. Turning to California-based Electramotive Engineering for development assistance, a multi-year assault was planned for the most technologically advanced sports car racing series of the era: IMSA GTP. The resulting car, the Nissan GTP ZX-Turbo, simmered throughout the mid-1980s before reaching a boil in the 1989 and 1990 seasons, claiming back-to-back GTP constructors' championships. Spark Models' 1:43-scale resin replica of the Nissan GTP ZX-Turbo captures this iconic racer in its peak form, as it appeared in victory at the 1990 12 Hours of Sebring. As we've come to expect from Spark, the GTP ZX-Turbo is packed with detail from its intricate race rims to its flawless paint and aero trim.
SPECIFICATIONS: 1:43 scale (approximately four inches in length). Resin body, no opening parts. Fixed position steering. Comes with "supplemental" sponsorship decals.
PERFECT FOR: Nissan devotees. Fans of the golden era of prototype racing.
