Nissan Skyline GT-R (R33) V-Spec - 1:18 Scale Diecast Model Car
Rather than a revolutionary reimagining, the R33-generation Nissan Skyline GT-R was a subtle evolution from its predecessor, the R32. Powered by a refined version of the race-proven RB26DETT engine, the R33 in V-Spec trim added an advanced ATTESA E-TS Pro all-wheel-drive system with an active limited-slip-differential, and independent-channel antilock brakes to create a worthy torchbearer for the "Godzilla" legend. But where Nissan focused on touring car racing with the R32, they set their sights higher with the R33, homologating the car for international GT1 competition and its greatest prize: the 24 Hours of Le Mans (where the R33 would score strong finishes in 1995 and 1996). AUTOart, undisputed masters of 1:18-scale diecast Skylines, bring us their take on the R33 V-Spec, and as usual the results are stunning. Its upholstered interior features embossed sill plates, and under the hood are a full compliment of factory badges and stickers.
SPECIFICATIONS: 1:18 scale (approximately ten inches in length). Diecast metal body, features opening hood, doors and trunk lid. Poseable front steering.
