Porsche 936/76 (1976 Monza 1000km Winner) - 1:18 Scale Model Car
The groundbreaking Porsche 936 is rightly remembered as the most dominant sports-prototype racer of the late 1970s. Developed around an innovative intercooled, twin-turbocharged flat six and incorporating well-tested suspension components from the earlier 917 and 908, the 936 would win the 24 Hours of Le Mans no fewer than three times. However, the car's first race victory came in the second round of the 1976 World Sports Car Championship, the Monza 1000km. In the capable hands of Jacky Ickx and Jochen Mass, and wearing the iconic Martini livery that would become synonymous with Porsche racing throughout the 1970s, the thoroughly developed 936 won in only its second-ever race outing, and would go on to win every subsequent race in the 1976 championship. TSM has paid tribute to this important milestone in Porsche history with their outstanding 1:18-scale replica of the 936/76. Featuring a flawlessly sculpted resin body and highly detailed cockpit, the TSM 936/76 will be a critical addition to any collection of scale model racing Porsches.
