Toyota Supra 2.5GT Twin Turbo R (1990) - 1:43 Scale Diecast Model Car
Throughout the first decade of its existence, the Toyota Supra was one of the world's best GT cars, with excellent highway manners and a silky smooth straight six. By 1990, though, it was clear that horsepower was going to be the name of the game in the world of Japanese performance cars, thanks to the introduction of the R32-generation Nissan Skyline GT-R. In response, Toyota massaged their Mark 3 Supra with a twin-turbocharged inline-6 capable of generating 276 horsepower, turning their long-distance tourer into a Wangan missile. Relatively unknown in the United States (except perhaps to players of the Gran Turismo series) the Supra 2.5GT Twin Turbo R is now available as a highly detailed 1:43-scale diecast model from Ebbro. Finished in rich dark green, the Ebbro Supra Twin Turbo R offers fine details such as accurate Recaro seats, perfectly rendered aerodynamic components, and beautiful five-spoke wheels that reveal sculpted brake calipers.
SPECIFICATIONS: 1:43 scale (approximately four inches in length). Diecast metal body, no opening parts. Comes with acrylic dust cover and display base.
PERFECT FOR: JDM enthusiasts. Diecast Toyota collectors who are all too aware of the rarity of Mark 3 Supra models in 1:43 scale. Gamers.
