We just received our initial allocation of Spark's incredible new 1:18-scale resin replica of the Aston Martin DBR1, winner of the 1959 24 Hours of Le Mans. Spark have carved out a niche for themselves in producing models of historic Le Mans winners that are of incredibly high quality, and the DBR1 may be their best effort yet. Though like most resin models it features no opening parts, the open cockpit is detailed to an exceptionally high degree, with particular attention paid to switchgear and gauge faces. Aston Martin enthusiasts should consider the Spark DBR1 a "must-add" to their model collections, as should any serious collector of historic sports racing models.
