The producers of the renowned Japanese Classic Car Show, America's largest annual gathering of pre-1985 Japanese autos, are launching a new event this year to spotlight J-tin of a more recent vintage. Dubbed JCCS Street Neo Classics, the new show will be devoted to Japanese cars produced between 1986 and 2000, an era that gave us modern classics such as the Acura NSX and Integra Type R, the Mazda Miata and FD-generation RX-7, and of course, the fearsome R32 and R33 Nissan Skyline GT-R.

When our good friends at Japanese Nostalgic Car invited us to join them in their booth at this first-of-its-kind event, we jumped at the chance. We'll be there with a carefully chosen selection of Japanese classics in 1:18 and 1:43 scale, including several fantastic Nissan Skylines from AUTOart (including the R32 GT-R V-Spec II pictured above.) If your wardrobe could use an update, JNC will have their full line of enthusiast apparel, including what is certain to be the show's hot ticket: their fantastic "Made In The '80s, Loved By The Ladies" t-shirt.

JCCS Street Neo Classics takes place on Sunday, October 18th at Toyota Motor Sales USA headquarters in Torrance, California. Admission is free to spectators, and food trucks will be on site for your dining pleasure. Show hours are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., but we urge you to arrive early for the best selection of models. We hope to see you at the Japanese Nostalgic Car booth on 10/18!
