The 1966 running of the Sebring 12 Hours endurance classic is widely known for Ford's dominance with its squad of GT40s, and for a pair of horrific accidents that would forever change the face of America's first round-the-clock sports car race. To those who carry a torch for the proud sports cars of Zuffenhausen, Sebring '66 should also be remembered as an important step in Porsche's evolution from small-displacement specialist to total dominance of world endurance racing. In the hands of Hans Herrmann, Joe Buzzetta and Gerhard Mitter, the #52 factory-entered 906 would claim victory in the 2-liter prototype category and fourth place overall (behind only a trio of GT40s). This incredibly significant Porsche sports racer is now offered as a beautiful 1:43-scale resin replica by Spark. From its delicate front winglets to its striking amber engine cover, every detail has been carefully considered and brilliantly executed.

Production of the #52 Porsche 906 is limited to 500 units, each individually numbered.
