The ferociously competitive, fender-banging German touring car championship known as the Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft (DTM for short) would reach a turning point in the 1992 season, the last to be run under FIA Group A rules. This would prove to be the swansong for DTM cars that largely resembled their homologation-special roadgoing versions - the Mercedes 190 Evo and BMW M3 Sport Evo chief among them - as the following year would see a new formula that allowed for advanced engine technology and wild aerodynamics.

A fan favorite during the 1992 DTM season was the M3 Sport Evolution fielded by Team Linder and driven by German ace Armin Hahne. Though never a contender for podium finishes, Team Linder's vibrant Jagermeister livery cut a striking figure in the closely packed field, recalling the glory days of the orange-clad racers of the '70s and '80s. Spark Models now offers this beautifully crafted 1:43-scale resin replica of the Team Linder 1992 M3 Sport Evo in a limited edition of 500 units. Its intricate Jagermeister paint/decal scheme is paired with an incredibly detailed interior and accurate race rims to create one of the most exciting E30 M3 models we've ever seen.
