Bridging the eras of Ettore Bugatti and Ferdinand Piech, the Bugatti EB110 was developed under the leadership of Italian businessman Roman Artioli during his brief stewardship of the historic French marque. Featuring cutting-edge technology for its era, the EB110 featured a carbonfibre monocoque, a quad-turbocharged V12 and all wheel drive to become one of the defining hypercars of the 1990s. In 1992, an even more extreme version of the EB110 was unveiled: the Super Sport. Boasting 611 horsepower, the EB110 SS was capable of nearly 220 miles per hour, making it perhaps the world's fastest supercar until the arrival of the McLaren F1. Out of approximately 130 Bugatti EB110s built, only 32 were in Super Sport specification, making it as rare as it is rapid.
The stunning Bugatti EB110 Super Sport is now the subject of a highly detailed 1:43-scale resin model by TSM. It is unusually accurate in its capture of the EB110's distinctive body shape, including its prominent rear wing and cooling ducts. Also noteworthy are the car's faithfully recreated road wheels and race-inspired cockpit.
