What Makes the Lamborghini Countach LP5000 Quattrovalvole So Special

The LP5000 Quattrovalvole ("four valves") represented one of the most significant mechanical evolutions in the Countach's long production run. Introduced in 1985, the Quattrovalvole received a new four-valve-per-cylinder version of Lamborghini's legendary 5.2-liter V12, increasing power output and helping the Countach remain competitive against a new generation of increasingly sophisticated supercars.
