The Lotus 72 stands as one of the greatest Formula 1 race cars of all time. Introduced in 1970, it would carry Jochen Rindt to the World Driver's Championship in its maiden season, and would deliver the same title to Emerson Fittipaldi two years later, and would claim three World Constructor's Championships for Lotus between 1970 and the car's eventual retirement in 1975.

Presented here in its 1973 Fittipaldi-driven 72E configuration, the Lotus 72 is now offered as a highly detailed 1:18-scale replica by AUTOart. Though a sealed, ABS-bodied model, it still offers a tremendous amount of detail in its engine, suspension and cockpit, and features authentic rubber tires and flawless, iconic black-and-gold livery.
